We create pieces with the same consideration we look for in our own clothes: thoughtful fit, beautiful materials, everyday comfort and a sense of style that feels effortless.
OUR story
IT STARTED WITH NOMI
CUDS began quietly in Sydney when I was trying to find pieces for my dachshund, Nomi, and almost nothing felt quite right.
Fabrics were often stiff or poor quality. Colours felt too loud. Tops were too short to cover his long back, while sleeves ran so long they needed rolling or altering. And even when something fit, the style rarely felt like us.
With a background in fashion, I started designing around proportion, fabric, silhouette and detail instead.
Each piece was worn, tested and refined through everyday life until it felt natural, comfortable and easy to live in.
What started with Nomi became CUDS.

Behind CUDS
CUDS is still very small. Most days, it’s me, two dachshunds, and one unpaid intern, my husband.
I design every piece myself, often through late nights of fitting, adjusting and refining until it feels right on the body and dogs can move comfortably in it. I put just as much care into finding the right materials, whether that means working with a fabric mill in Korea or searching for the right alpaca yarn that feels right against the skin.
Sometimes it means driving three hours to a beach outside Sydney, wandering through Paddington with the dogs, or spending an afternoon shooting a collection and coming home with more memories than content.
And when you send a DM or email, it’s usually me on the other side, helping with sizing, answering questions or fixing something that didn’t go quite right.
What started with Nomi became CUDS. And even as it grows, we want to keep that same care in every piece, every detail and every interaction.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Designed for every moment together.
Coffee runs. Market mornings. Beach days. Rainy walks. These everyday moments are where our ideas begin.
We design around what dogs actually need in those moments: a soft, warm sweater for colder days, a cooling vest with UV protection for summer, or a waterproof raincoat that keeps them covered, with just enough character to melt you the way they already do.
Function comes first, but never alone. We consider fit, movement, fabric and the smallest details so every piece feels comfortable, works properly and still carries that effortless character that feels unmistakably CUDS.
Fabrication & Sustainability
We’re committed to creating pieces for dogs that are made to be worn, lived in and kept for longer. From durable fabrics and considered trims to fits designed around real movement, we believe quality is one of the most meaningful ways to reduce unnecessary consumption.
We’re also continuing to improve how we make and package our products, choosing materials and production methods more thoughtfully wherever we can. As CUDS grows, we want to keep making better decisions, creating pieces that stay comfortable, useful and loved through more walks, more seasons and more everyday life with your dog.🐶
COMMUNITY, TOGETHER
A big part of CUDS is the community growing around it, and the way dogs naturally bring people closer together.
In a time when so much of life happens through screens, we treasure the moments that feel real. Meeting the people behind the names, cuddling the pups we’ve only known through photos, and having conversations that somehow feel warm from the very first hello.
Those moments make CUDS feel like more than the pieces we make. They remind us how dogs can soften a room, bring strangers closer and make everyday life feel a little warmer.
That’s what CUDS is becoming to us: a warm little community of real people, real pups, shared stories and genuine connection.
